Carlistrane man Wins
Andrew Shaughnessy from Carlistrane put in a great performance in the 10 mile TT in Ballinrobe last Thursday evening with a 3minute and 45seconds improvement since the last time the TT was done 5 months a go in April.
Young Arran Chambers from Westport also put in a sterling performance in the Youth section with an improvement of 3minutes 20seconds which will have him in the driving seat for the most improved Youth rider competition with Andrew in the same position in the Senior section.
Next Thursday 5k hill climb up Lally’s Mt will tell who has improved most over the 5months, the overall in the league will also be settled with Joe Marrey and Darragh Reidy fighting it out for the top position, while below them there are 15 riders hoping to end up in the top 10.
