Club League Round 2

The Hill climb attracted 48 competitors varying in abilities and sizes, the 5k ascent up to the top of Lally's mountain in Tourmakeady had more than a few in oxygen debt.

Next Round Thursday the 22nd in Westport, sign on from 6.15pm at the Train station on the B'robe road, racing starts at 7pm sharp using the Westport to Srah circuit and back finishing 1km out the Ballinrobe road.

There will be 3 groups on the road separated by a handicap based on ability, remember you must wear a number.

Western Lakes CC strongly urges that all its members support the league at the moment Westport Covey Wheelers are out numbering us by nearly 2 to 1 even though we have more members affiliated to Cycling Ireland, so come on guys show your support..
