Membership Pack to attract new faces of Western Lakes CC

Western Lakes Cycling Club is making a big push this year to get parents, and non-cyclists, involved in the club – and they have come up with an attractive Membership Pack to entice them in.

All non-cycling members – including parents of cyclists – will receive club membership, affiliation, and a club polo-shirt for just €25.

“Our idea is to bring more people into the club, which had about 50 members last year. Quite a few of our members don’t cycle at all, but are willing workers for the club in organising events,” said club treasurer Mary Munroe.

Membership should be paid by January 28th, and cycling members should take note of the new membership structure in place this year.

Meanwhile, the club is about to launch newly-designed gear for the coming seasons. Anyone who would like to order gear should contact Mary immediately. Some items of clothing from the existing design are still available, and can be purchased at bargain prices from Mary Munroe.
