Western Lakes cyclist Martin Munroe (17) picked up the Willie McNeela Memorial Trophy for the outstanding performance of the weekend at Ras Connachta in Cong.

Martin finished fourth overall, just 36 seconds behind the race winner Tommy Evans of Planet X. This was an outstanding display by Martin against experienced senior riders and illustrates his great potential.

Martin has been a regular on Irish teams in recent years and this performance shows that he is ready to step up to the adult levels.
