Western Lakes Cycling Club are holding a pre-season training race on Sunday next, February 27, in aid of the Asian Relief Fund. This is part of the concerted effort by Mayo sporting organizations to raise money for the region devastated by the St Stephen’s Day tsunami.

The race will take place in Partry, and sign-on is from 10am at the Community Centre, Partry.

The race is open to U16, Juniors, Seniors, and Ladies, and will take place over 85kms.

On the same day, the club is holding three Leisure spins over distances ranging from 25-70km to cater for varying abilities. Newcomers are welcome to come along, and there will be tea and sandwiches afterwards in the Village Inn Partry.
